Wittenburg Site Administrator and Education/Disabilities Manager

The Education/Disabilities/Mental Health Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that all children enrolled in Alexander County Head Start experience a safe, nurturing, enjoyable, and secure learning environment, with each child being treated as an individual and with respect. Another key responsibility is to promote a continuum of physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth and development. This is achieved through the supervision and training of all teaching staff, the development and oversight of curricula, and the provision of educational resources for both staff and parents. The Education Manager oversees all aspects of classroom and educational requirements. Additionally, the Disabilities Manager collaborates with classroom staff to ensure they have the necessary support and materials to create a successful learning environment for children with special needs.
